Arecibo Observatory, the world’s largest radio telescope located in Puerto Rico, faces massive budget crises that will end its ability to continue the research. The decision to ensure full funding currently rests upon votes in Congress on Senate Bill S. 2862 and House Resolution H.R. 3737. These bills desperately need more support. Check-out this page and send a letter to your political representatives if you’re an US citizen, if not, please pick-up one and send him a different letter. Arecibo is an important site for the science overall and not only to US economy :) Also visit the official Arecibo website.
